The “15~24-story lighting” load of an office building is planned to be trunk-type power distribution. The wiring in the 15~24-layer electrical pipe is laid by single-core branch cable or compact busway.
 
The actual wiring is as follows:
 
(1) Single-core cable is used from the substation low-voltage distribution line to the 14-story electric pipe to make the top branch cable transfer box (or the busway inlet box), and the line length is 80m.
 
(2) The load capacity of each lighting main box (15~24PM) is the same, and the power factor cosψ=0.8 (has passed the capacitance compensation). The mains load requires a factor of K = 0.8.
 
(3) For comparison, it is assumed that the load capacity of each layer is six, 50, 40, 30, 25, 20, and 16 kW, respectively.
 
(4) The cable is made of XLPE insulated vinyl chloride sheathed copper core cable, and the busway is densely insulated.
 
Because of the two schemes, the same single-core cable is used to lay along the bridge from the low-voltage power distribution cabinet to the 14-story electric tube well cable transfer box (or busway cable box), so the comparison of their material prices is only estimated. The vertical pipe can be used to make the material cost of the main line in the well. Table 2 compares the price of the main materials and accessories of the two schemes (the busway adopts 3-phase 4-wire system, and the cable uses 4 single-core branch cables, because the busbar branch line is used in both schemes, one is polyethylene Single-core cable, one is a rubber sheathed flexible cable, the price is not much different, so it is not in the comparison).
